How to work a release

  1. Note release number and post date
  2. Identify originating agency on each file
  3. Separate primary reports from clippings and routing memos
  4. For video, read AARO assessment language when available
  5. Write “what the file says” before “what it means for ET”
  6. Keep Black Vault FOIA as a parallel search when program names appear
